The default priority setup is AF this option won’t let you take a photo in Auto Focus mode unless the a300 confirms the focus first. If you want to override this setting change it to ‘Release’ this will allow you to take a photo at any point regardless of focus.
To get into the Recording Menu press the “Menu” button on the back of the camera in any mode except for playback. You will then be greeted with the menu options as shown in the image to the left. To Navigate the menu use the up & down arrows of the Controller and press the centre button of the controller to select an option.
